NO zine - the NO frills edition

the first issue of NO is online and ready for you to look at it. keep in mind, this truly is the NO FRILLS edition. the print copy will be formatted a little differently and there will be a couple of extra pages with info and a mission statement. i'm going to host it on my dripbook at the moment as it seems like the easiest option. a swankier edition will most likely also go up soon.

so remember kids... scroll from left to right and click to make the photos gargantuan. it also loads a little slow as it's kind of huge.

NORTH OF AMERICA

just found these photos on my hard drive. i scanned them a few months ago and forgot about them. they take place between 1999? and 2003?. it was all shot on crappy konica 35mm colour film and slightly less crappy agfa 35mm b&w film. shot on an ancient olympus om-1 and a kalimar flash. i made due with what i had.

i truly love this band.

NO zine

just finished doing a mock up of the back and front cover of NO zine. keep in mind, this hasn't been cleaned up yet. it's going a lot faster than i thought though. i think this is going to turn out well. let me know what you think!

i've been working on my book lately in preparation for meetings and a trip to toronto. usually i just look at the most recent photos i've shot and try to work them in. this time i approached it a little differently. as opposed to just looking at the new stuff i went through the backlog of photos i've shot since 2006 in order to make sure i hadn't been overlooking anything. i came across this image of my friend sean that i'd taken in 2007 and realized that i really liked it. i had forgotten that i'd even taken it.
